Envoy Engineering have joined forces with SCP at SCP’s manufacturing site

In April 2003 Envoy Engineering moved from its location in Birmingham to join forces with SCP in Tamworth.  Envoy Engineering’s John McHugh has integrated Envoy’s machinery and tooling to continue to make Envoy’s products. SCP has a wide spectrum of machine tools at its disposal including investment in three recently acquired CNC machines which will all be utilized to ensure that we maintain or improve the level of service to which Envoy customers have been accustomed. SCP will be able to interpret your orders and drawings using a wide range of methods including Fax, Email and CAD.

In December 2002 SCP moved its Tamworth manufacturing facility a short distance to a new 17,000 sqft site around the corner on the Lichfield Road Industrial Estate. From March 2003 the new site also incorporates Mercian Works from Telford giving SCP greatly increased efficiency.

New Suspension Links for Classic Cars!

 These are typical suspension and steering links used on a wide variety of cars since the 1930’s and manufactured by Armstrong and latterly Monroe. SCP has now taken over the production for the classic car links and has the original tooling and drawings for some early links in our archive. SCP has undertaken some small batches of early links for the classic car trade and would like to offer this service to a wider field; if you, in your specialised area have had trouble locating replacement links then we want to hear from you, maybe we can help.
